Built in 1792, the original Thorn Hill Estate is listed on the United States National Register of Historic Places and is a Virginia Historic Landmark. This estate has been described as one of the finest late Georgian houses and one of the most historically significant homes in southwest Virginia.
The main house is the centerpiece of this stunning property and sets the tone for our Virginia country retreat. Our three other historic buildings include The Cottage, The Lodge and our relaxing Yoga Barn, all situated around a 19th century fountain in our courtyard.
